Course Overview

To address the large volume of municipal and industrial solid waste generated, the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, developed rules and guidelines in the Resource Conservation Recovery Act of 1976, commonly known as RCRA. These regulations give the EPA the authority to control hazardous waste and its generation, transportation, treatment, storage, and disposal.
