Cut Protection

Watch the video for a preview of the training.

Course Overview

This training helps workers in situations where cut protection gloves and clothing is needed. A cut can result in a minor wound or a serious debilitating injury. The sections of this course demonstrate what kinds of gloves are needed, the material used in different gloves, why fit is important, and a reminder that although gloves protect from cuts, they do not prevent cuts 100%, so safe work practices are still important. In the video, there is an explanation of the types of materials used in the gloves, and when to use which kind of glove. This course prepares employees to make safe choices when it comes to cut prevention.
