Practically every individual operates or rides in some type of motor vehicle every day, making vehicle safety a critical issue in everyone's lives. This is especially true for employers. Automobile crashes are attributed to more than forty percent of all work-related deaths, with auto related injuries resulting in an even higher percentage of employees' time away from work. This course gives employers the opportunity to reduce those statistics at their workplaces by presenting the multitude of reasons for the high injury and death rate related to motor vehicles and how employees can mitigate them. With an introduction to the three key elements of a safe driving strategy, Prepare, Anticipate, and Defend, this course shows learners how and why to immediately apply these three elements to their vehicles and driving habits.
