Course Overview
This training video explains the Global Harmonizing System of hazard communication and the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS). This course covers hazard classification, and safety labels including pictograms of the types of health hazards and physical hazards of chemicals. This training explains why safety data sheets are important and explains the use of personal protective equipment to help keep workers safe. Use this course to help employees understand the importance of the WHMIS, and how safety precautions help them prevent injuries and accidents when working with or around hazardous chemicals.
