As terrorist threats continue to rise, security in the workplace is crucial. Safety is dependent, in a large part, on an alert, vigilant workforce. This course focuses on security awareness of employees. Topics covered include following security procedures, staying alert, and reporting observations and suspicions. Specific examples are provided to instruct employees how to keep the workplace as safe as possible by following security protocols and being alert to suspicious behaviors or events. Specifically, this course provides training in Security Awareness, described in 49 CFR Part 172, Subpart H. This course can be used with untrained workers, as well as for refresher training.
