These pollutants include paints, oils, lubricants, fuels, solvents, detergents, deicers, herbicides and many more. The online course illustrates how materials management training can help prevent contamination from leaks or runoff. Materials management includes learning how to properly store materials using pallets, secondary containment systems, tarps and indoor storage areas. The course discusses the importance of keeping a spill kit containing absorbents, dykes and protective equipment if necessary on site.
