Our unconscious mind takes shortcuts based on categories to make quick decisions about people. This course shows employees how to bypass those shortcuts, look past the categories, and assess people objectively and fairly. Stressing how unconscious bias shows up when we unwittingly react to our attitudes, feelings, or stereotypes, this course illustrates how and why it impacts our judgment of other people. After learning how we simplify our world by creating categories we put people into, employees understand how a "Them" and "Us" attitude is formed. Upon completing each of the five modules in this course employees will learn how to create their own Unconscious Bias plan. Use this course to teach your team tactics and opportunities they can use to ensure workplace decisions aren't being guided by unconscious bias.
