The Department of Transportation (DOT) is responsible for the safety and security of the hazardous materials transported within the United States. To facilitate this responsibility, the DOT has published Hazardous Materials Regulations for every company and employee who handles or transports hazardous materials. By pointing out how hazardous materials can be used as weapons of mass destruction, this course details the DOT's critical requirements for secure handling, transportation, and storage of HAZMATs, emphasizing the three core aspects of In-Depth Security training. These include: how to recognize security threats, how to perform security procedures, and how to respond to a security breach or attack. Use this course to ensure your employees understand your company's Security Plan, are aware of their responsibilities, and know how to perform specific security procedures.
