Evacuation Procedures

Watch the video for a preview of the training.

Course Overview

Every year nearly 100,000 workplace fires occur in all types of facilities, and fires are just one type of emergency that can prompt an evacuation of the building or facility. This course illustrates the types of emergencies that occur in the workplace and teaches employees the evacuation procedures and protocols to follow for each. Admittedly, dealing with an emergency is never easy, nor is evacuating a facility when one occurs. Very few people can think clearly or logically when an emergency alarm goes off, which only adds to the danger, injuries, and damage. With the purpose of showing how to prevent any type of workplace emergency evacuation from turning into chaos, whether from a fire or explosion to an active shooter situation, this course shows employees how each person in an emergency can make a difference to ensure an evacuation occurs calmly and orderly. Use this course so all employees throughout the workplace know what to do and who does what in the event of an emergency evacuation of the facility or building.
