HAZWOPER: Personal Protective Equipment

Watch the video for a preview of the training.

Course Overview

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should always be used when working with hazardous materials of any kind. OSHA's HAZWOPER Regulation classifies PPE into four categories: Levels A, B, C, and D. This safety training video explains each level, and alerts viewers to potential problems that could arise from using PPE. Level A PPE gives the highest level of skin, respiratory, and eye protection and should be used when you face the most danger from contamination. This course also illustrates levels B, C, and D PPE and explains the amount of protection each provides. By understanding their PPE, workers are better prepared to correctly use equipment and watch out for problems they may encounter. Watch this safety training course and learn how to protect yourself from hazardous contaminants.
