Our emotions have an impact on so many things, from our mood and our decision-making process, to how we perceive others and how we communicate with others! Emotional intelligence is the awareness that our perceptions of events and interactions with others are affected by emotions. Viewers are taught how to manage emotions by following three steps: let yourself feel the emotion; let the emotional wave pass; and challenge the emotion.
