Construction sites can be dangerous and ever-changing. Workers are continuously exposed to hazards that can cause injury and even death. Hazard awareness is critical to keeping everyone safe. This online training enforces the importance of awareness and how it helps create the site’s work plan to reduce the likelihood of injury. Safety at an individual level is discussed through the use of personal protective equipment, or PPE. Viewers learn about some basic construction hazards and how to control them including falls, ladders and scaffolds, electrical hazards, heavy equipment, and trenches and excavations. When working construction, safety is the top priority. By the end of this training program, workers will know how to determine the hazards of their planned work and follow safe work practices.
